A clear certification journey to mastery for a global EV company

Before founding Infuse Journeys, I spearheaded a unique certification platform launch for a global electric vehicle company. 

While designing a career development program for over 2,500 global service staff, I knew that building technical skills was more than a nice-to-have; it was crucial for safety and compliance. However, service managers across dozens of markets were struggling with seeing their staff’s technical certifications and filling skill gaps.

I led the implementation of a visual, engaging skill matrix to make skill development clear and motivating. My approach:

  • Mapped out the certification process across 8 competencies
  • Guided the development of the custom-built skills platform with a partner engineer
  • Designed a learning hub for easy onboarding and adoption by both managers and staff 

The impact

  • 2.500+ employees onboarded onto the skill matrix platform
  • Skills and certification pathways became measurable and clear
  • Increased ownership from employees on their own development
